Waterwell Drillers’ Licensing Examination costs
as at August 2011
ADITC holds examinations on the technical skills required for waterwell drilling. This is done on behalf of State and Territory governments so that there is consistency across Australia in the examination content.
New Licence including endorsement/s Examination Fee is $ 315.00
Upgrade of an existing Licence (eg from Class 1 to Class 2) Examination Fee is $ 205.00
Additional Endorsement to existing licence Fee is $ 115.00
Please note that each State/Territory body will have their own examination relating to their state’s Water Act. Each State/Territory determines the cost for this in its state and the costs are incurred separately to ADITC.
Please note that when we provide your examination results to you, this does not grant you a licence. The State/Territory regulator has the authority to grant or refuse to grant a licence, and completing your examination is only one part of the process of applying for a waterwell driller’s licence.
