The DICAT Course The DICAT Course (34 KB)

The DICAT Drilling External Study Course has gained industry acceptance as the only opportunity to undertake a formal course of study in drilling while on the job.

Industry experts have written the course from proven, practical application. It is designed to complement or work in tandem with on-site work.  Training continues without interruption to your job, which becomes part of the training process through practical application.

You can apply what you learn, and gain nationally-recognised qualifications in your own time, at your own pace.

The Course is well illustrated and written in Plain English.  We continually update technical aspects as they change.

The course stands alone as an industry skills course, and meets your theoretical requirements for drilling practice. It  also forms the underpinning basis of national qualifications.

You only need to have your practical skills assessed to turn your DICAT Certificate into a Certificate IV in Drilling, a national Australian qualification.

See other DICAT information in this menu for more detail.
