The Australian Drilling Industry Training Committee Ltd is a not-for-profit industry body has national responsibility to all sectors of the Drilling industry in Australia for the direction of industry training and qualifications for the Drilling Industry.
The Australian Drilling Industry Training Committee Ltd Board and Full Committee are formed from the formally–proposed Representative Membership of the Chairmen or Presidents of major industry associations and relevant stakeholder bodies in the drilling industry, and Ordinary Members at the most senior level of industry. For example, International Association of Drilling Contractors – Australasian Chapter; AWU; Australian Drilling Industry Association; Australasian Society for Trenchless Technology; Australasian Contaminated Lands Consultants’ Association; Piling and Foundation Specialists Federation; National Groundwater Committee.

Hot rock geothermal drilling is a developing branch of drilling.
The Australian Drilling Industry Training Committee Ltd was formed in 1978, and has been in continuous operation ever since. It delivers advisory and lobbying services, develops reference and resource materials for the industry, provides research and training /assessment services on and offshore and holds registration for an embedded Registered Training Provider. We provide assistance to all states in application for waterwell driller licences.
